Quite a while back I did a couple of posts about the old waterfalls that used to be on the grounds of the hotel. I really miss those waterfalls. They provided a magical atmosphere to the grounds - at least to me. I was reminiscing about those waterfalls so I made a visit to the hotel to walk the grounds and remember an area that filled me with wonder when I was a child. I know I'm not alone. I know that there are many of you that feel the same way and probably have not been to the hotel since everything changed. There was nobody in front of these topiary so I had to snap a picture! The hotel is looking mighty spiffy nowadays. I am on the prowl for cats... Still looking for those kitties while I make my way to the wedding gazebo. Oh look! I guess my invite got lost in the mail. On Monday, May 12th, I attended an Annual Passholder Event that was designed to entice me to renew my annual pass. You all know that I do not need to be convinced, right? My friends and I got there early and found quite a line for check-in. Once we got our wristbands, we got a cool little "newspaper" that described the entertainment options for the evening. As I was walking by Oswalds, I noticed some really cool glasses! I guess Grizzly River Run is down for refurbishment. It's kinda neat to see it without water. I snapped this as we were on our way to have dinner at the Paradise Garden Plaza. Next we rode Tower of Terror! Last but not least, I leave you with a frightening photo of me doing my "evil face"!

It's funny how you can see something hundreds of times and yet not notice it. I don't really know how long this particular sign has been up but I noticed it the other night...I mean I REALLY noticed it. It caught my attention because it was so pretty. Inside the shop, I was fascinated by the artists as she worked at etching a glass item. I was on my way out of the Park and the lights on Main Street made me stop. Literally, I just stopped and looked all around. I love Main Street at night Until next time...
