Life is a Journey

Here are a few updates on the construction of the Carthay Theater, Carsland and The Little Mermaid attraction... By the way, Annual Passholders get to preview The Little Mermain today and tomorrow! The place is gonna be a madhouse! The cool Information Booth is GONE... I have no idea what, if anything, will replace it. The seating area outside the ice cream shop is GONE. Another look at the tower as I head towards Carsland... The waterfalls weren't running...strange... This looked inviting to me while I was there...not so much in the photo. I think they did a great job on this building.   Here's a little snippet of music from the Mermaid attraction area. Kinda reminds me of the music on Main Street over at Disneyland.  

Seems like the gremlins have infiltrated Blogger. Either that or the Major wasn't kidding when he said it was his fault. Anyway I found my post that was supposed to show up today so I am reposting. Take that , Major!   (hee hee) Quick post today...we have a couple of shots from DCA. Carsland is coming along nicely. So nicely that my son had to stop me from climbing over the fence. I don't know what came over me. Maybe I was hungry. It was before we ate... We paused to watch the coaster....I don't care how many drinks I may consume, I will NEVER get on that thing! And last but not least, something that made me DROOL! Check out one of my fellow bloggers over at A Snow White Sanctum . WOW! I am ordering a shirt from Torrid, right now!

Since there was a break in the rain, I decided to go to the Parks today. Didn't stay long as it turned out to be hot and crowded!!! As soon as I entered the gate at DCA, I turned back and took these pics. They are so secretive about this project! Nice sign...don't know how much longer it will be there. A new meet and greet area for Lightening McQueen and Mater. A peek into Carsland... Another look at the Cars meet and greet area. These were waaaaay in the distance and I don't remember ever seeing them before and yet they don't look like they have anything to do with Carsland... Outside of the Blue Sky Cellar.... More signs... About to leave DCA when this caught my eye. Once the construction is done, those things will frame the clock tower and the Matterhorn nicely.  Tomorrow, we'll head on over to Disneyland.

Thanks for sticking with me on this CHOC Walk Tour! This will be the last post so get comfortable and enjoy the tour. Walking into DCA we are greeted by ElecTRONical People! I'm anxious to see the movie but I don't get these guys....guess I have to wait until the movie comes out. Here is Flick and Princess Atta with a very happy guest! Now this caught my eye...it's a switch/signal for the new cable cars! I don't know what it's really called but I do know it's a train thing, LOL! Guess where we go next? Backstage! I am assuming that this construction stuff is related to Carlsland because it is right next to.... THIS!  Can you make out what it is??? You can barely see through this covered fence at the Carsland construction. Talk about a teaser! We leave the backstage area and end up in Bug's Land...
