Oogie Boogie's Halloween Bash

Image
FUN!!! Oh my goodness, so much fun! I started my afternoon with a great lunch at Wine Country Trattoria. We spent some time going over the food guide... To kill some time we rode Monsters Inc. I love Roz! I tried the Howl-O-Ween and it was an epic failure. I threw it away. That's how bad it was. DO NOT waste your money on this. It consisted of Caramel Vodka and Honest Abe Apple Pie Cider. Genesis tried the Worms, Dice and Everything Nice and it was a thumbs up! Looked really cool, too! It consisted of Midori-Limeade Slush, Gummy Worms and Dice glow cube. Off to the Blue Sky Cellar to check-in for the party and then we left the Park to check-in to our hotel. We stayed at the Anaheim Marriott Suites. We dropped off our bags and then returned to DCA and the first Treat Trail we did was awesome. I present to you my Queen... We each got new ears! The Grizzly Peak Treat Trail was awesome. It had lots of atmosphere... ...a...

Halloween Merch Is Now In The Parks!

Image
I met up with a friend last night mainly to record an interview for my podcast. It made me soooo happy to see Halloween stuff in the Parks! I only took one pic of some Halloween merch as I was walking down Buena Vista Street because I was in a hurry to meet up with my friend and then I took a few later in the evening. But have no fear, I am going back specifically to check out all of the Halloween stuff! This will just be a quick post - short on comments - mainly just wanted to share with y'all. I love Snapchat, LOL! Here's a new hidden Mickey! That's it for now. If you haven't checked out my podcast, take a listen to Not Strictly Disney, available everywhere!

She turns 60 soon!

Who? The one and only Disneyland, that's who! The 24 hour event that kicked off the 60th celebration was a couple of months ago but I still want to share my adventure with you. I did not want to deal with the throngs of people yet I still wanted to be there. What to do, what to do.....I decided that I was going to go to Disneyland at 3:00 in the morning! I went to bed early and got up at 1:30 so that I could leave my house by 2:00. I drove down to Anaheim and when I was about a mile away, stopped at a red light, I tweeted "Do you think I'll get in?" Several people responded yes. I was excited! I drove into the Mickey and Friends parking structure and didn't even have to stop and show my pass...there was no one in the booths! I parked where I wanted and made my way to the tram. There were a few others there but only a handful, 10 guests at the most. I breezed through security and walked into the Park with no problem. As I walked down Main Street, I was m...

Disney Crusing Part 5

Image
Part 5...can you believe it? Oh my gosh, how long is this going to be? And it was only a two day cruise! After we had dinner, we decided to check out the art "sale"...I didn't see any sale prices. Of course, we fell in love with several items, most of which were out of our price range. However, Jen took pictures so that we could take home a little bit of the magic! If there are any of you out there that would like to purchase a belated birthday present for me, I won't stop you. Maleficent would look great in my living-room. Just sayin'. This huge glass sculpture is amazing to behold. Oh, and Charisma is cute, too! Again, thanks to Jen, we can share these super cool and unique lamps with you. Love those tiny Mickey heads! Guess what? Day 2 has come to a close!

A day at DCA

Image
Long time no see!!! I know I haven't been around for a while and I apologize for that. Things have been hectic in my world but I finally found some time to go to the Parks. On November 1st, I spent the day at DCA so I'll share those pics with you now. OK, pop quiz - Where are these next two items located? I don't know if they are new but I noticed them for the first time so naturally I had to take a picture of them. (Answer: They are located right at the entrance to the bathrooms next to Off The Page however, as you approach the bathrooms, they are behind you. Maybe that's why I never noticed them before!) Doing some window shopping in Off The Page, I came across some magnificent Maleficent items. I especially dig this one since it's made entirely of PAPER! Inside the Beast's library... As you can see, Bugs Land is ready for Christmas! The view just caught my eye... Now it's time for a Sangria break! Over in Par...
