Disneyland 12-28-11 Part 2

Image
If you followed along with us yesterday, you know that we are now making our way back to Disneyland. The entrance to DCA looked so pretty to me. Just a moment later, glancing across towards Disneyland. Oh yes, it was VERY crowded. First stop - the Blue Ribbon Bakery. Oh decisions, decisions! Yup, I got a Gingerbread Man. While the "kids" went to stand in line for Star Tours, I planted myself at the Plaza Inn to enjoy my Gingerbread Man and Pumpkin Spice Latte. After devouring my goodies, I had to entertain myself... So when did that "guard rail fence thing" go up??? La dee da....I'm getting bored... Once the kiddos returned to fetch me, we walked by Santa's sleigh on our way to the Stage Door Cafe to grab a yummy corn dog. My son's roommate, Debby, is moving away and she expressed a desire to visit Disneyland before leaving California. She had not been to the Park since before Indiana Jones opened. After a nice relaxing lunch, we made our way through Bugs Land towards the Tower of Terror. We decided to wait in the 90 minute...

No, this little puppy was rescued from the unwanted heap and re-purposed as a journal. Let's take a look, shall we? Here I have laid out the book so that you can see both the front and back covers. As you open the book, you see that the previous owner thoroughly enjoyed his book. Interesting artwork is saved to make the journal interesting. I think this is the neatest idea!! Here's some info on these books, from the site: Not unlike a snowflake, a soft puppy, or a slice of warm pie, every journal we make here at ex libris anonymous is one-of-a-kind, unique, and completely unrepeatable experience. we start by exhaustively searching for the most interesting recycled books we can find, and after carefully curating our favorites, we salvage the covers (and selected pages) of the lucky ...
