Grumble...grumble...

Have any of you bloggers out there been having issues with your blogs? Lately, I will set up two or three days worth of postings only to find that they have all turned back into drafts. It's very annoying. And yesterday, two posts posted on the same day. In other words, today's post showed up about an hour after yesterday's post. So, since yesterday's post bot buried, you can check it out here will I try to set up something for tomorrow.

We continue our look back at 2007 but don't blame me, blame the Major. If you look in the comments section of yesterday's post, you will see proof that he forced me with his Jedi mind trick powers! The Autumn flowers are in full bloom at Disneyland. I wonder what this horse is thinking?? Arrival time...this was before I decided to use the Main Street Station clock. How much do they cost now? Last time I bought one it was $6 something! What a gorgeous day! I guess nobody wants popcorn. Giddy up! Daddy, telling his daughter that once upon a time... It seems like they no longer have interesting signs on the Omnibus like in the olden days. Snipers!! Darn! I had to find somewhere else to eat! The finishing touches were being put on the Dream Suite... The Park is gearing up for Halloween. Stirring up interest for the new movie, Princess and the Frog. I love these next two pictures...The castmember is telling the horse he needs to cooperate... ...but ...

Another Day in September 2007

It was the eleventh...I decided that I needed to go to my happy place. This lovely mural can be found on the side of the "bank" building...now the Disney Gallery. Boy, Tomorrowland seems rather empty. Monstro looks hungry. Not much going on here, either! Let's see what we can find in Frontierland... Davy Crockett's window! I sure do miss this store. Well, the store is still there but it no longer features Nightmare Before Christmas stuff. The guy I was dating at the time... Music on Main Street. That's it for today...

Let's Go Back to 2007 Part 2

It's now June of 2007 and yours truly has won the opportunity to preview Finding Nemo before it opens to the public!! How lucky can one girl get? I had to show my pass and special ticket just to get in line. I rarely get so many pictures of me at the Park...must have been a good hair day, LOL It was exciting! And I was so glad that I didn't have to fight the crowds. After that, I stopped at the Carnation Cafe for a latte... Then I uncovered a human snorting horse! I bet you didn't see that in the news, did ya??   Let me know if you want to see more of 2007!

Let's go back to 2007 Part 1

Join me as we go back to May of 2007. It was a simpler time, a time when genteel pirates invaded Tom Sawyer's Island and turned it into Pirates Lair. The Mark Twain is under wraps... ...and baby ducks are on the scene. It looks like Walt is saying, "Get that thing out of here!" My attempt at being "artsy". King Triton in his old stomping grounds. The finishing touches are being put on Nemo. "Please keep hands and arms inside the vehicle at all times..." One final shot of Nemo from the Monorail. Hope you enjoyed this look back. More tomorrow!

We continue yesterday's visit to Anaheim.... Regular readers know that I always document my arrival time... Check this out - The Emporium is all covered up....with a picture of itself! The castle looking gorgeous as always. Man, it was sooooo crowded. Uff da! Let's go to Frontierland! The Columbia is sailing today. Refurbishment still going strong at Splash Mountain. The island was closed today....probably due to the rain. Here comes the Columbia. Something is going on over at the fort. The doors are open and what is that big white thing???? This raft went across the river just to drop off a couple of maintenance castmembers. Look...somebody left a ladder on Splash Mountain. I stopped at the Hungry Bear and had some sweet potato fries. YUM!!! From my comfy seat on the upper deck, I watched the canoes glide by... As well as the Columbia. Aft...
