Elias and Company - Merchandise!

After leaving the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe, I stood outside for quite a while, just enjoying the wonderful music! Then I turned around towards DCA's new icon and it took my breath away. I guess you can tell by all the pictures I took, right? I wasn't content to shoot it with my camera but I used my phone, too, LOL!



I glanced over at Elias & Company...it was calling to me:  Come in, come in....
So in I went!


This was another OMG moment where I stood frozen and transfixed for several seconds. WOW, this merchandise is incredible!





Then, when I finally got my wits about me, I started looking at the store interior. Fantastic!! The details are amazing and I know I went through it way too fast to catch everything but here is a sampling.



Is it just me or does this guy remind you of The Rocketeer?



Wonderful, right? The next room was very feminine in design and the merchandise wasn't too shabby either, LOL. I want this purse.


The room is round and so very elegant.



Check out this mirror. I don't know if it is really a vintage mirror or a reproduction but either way, It is beautiful and belongs with me, right?


How's this for a blouse? Awesome!

I know that for some of you this is old news but I also know that there are some of you out there that can't get enough of the new Buena Vista Street!

Getting back into the swing of things...

It's been a rough couple of days... I came back to work only to be told that I will no longer have a job as of February 1st! Ya, it was a big shocker to me, too. That being said, everything else is back to "normal" and I will begin posting on a regular basis again. Below is a little video I put together taken on my last night in Florida. There is a wonderful little town called Ocala, which I dearly love. I am providing links to two sites, one here and one here , so you can have a little information about the place. OOPS! I just realized that I had posted some of the previous video earlier in the week. Oh well.. at least this one contains new footage, LOL. Upside down Christmas Trees?

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. I had a great bacon cheeseburger and then walked off my lunch by window shopping. A life sized Santa! (And he looks a bit creepy the way he's standing there. "Hey baby.." Ever seen an upside down Christmas tree? Me either! I decided to take pictures of all the trees... Look! Another upside down Christmas tree.
