Disneyland Train Stations Part 2

Tomorrowland Station!

It took a couple of trips (see what I do for you??) but I think I finally got enough shots to adequately cover the station for you. These first shots were taken as I approached the station...

Here's a little video of the sign.

Now I'm in line and waiting for the next train.

A close-up of one of the lamps.

Looking around the station...I had never noticed how retro modern the structure was.

Looking down at the gate...

Here comes the train!

Now I'm on the train.

I went back to the Park on a different day and got into the queue for Autopia to take these next few shots.

I had never noticed the "striping" effect...

Watching the train...

I'm on the train and looking at nothing but I'm in Tomorrowland, LOL!

Approaching the Tomorrowland Station...

View from the train...

Looking at the station again. (Yes, I rode around and around three times to get shots of all the stations!)

Click on this to hear my SHOUT.

That's it for Tomorrowland. We're going counter clockwise so next time we visit the ToonTown Station.

Nice coverage Connie. I like the views from the train.

Indeed. TL Station. What has to be the coldest spot in the park. Every time I am over here, I always have a shiver upon entering or leaving this station. Not sure why, doesn't matter the time of the day....just always cold over there.
Really good work, I am enjoying your tour of the 'stations' a lot.

I wish I was on that train right now! I'd never noticed the striped landscaping either.
Thufer, it's because TL station was built on an ancient Indian burial ground!

I am guessing that the station is the same original structure that has been there since the old days, now "improved" with the tacked-on (and tacky) pseudo steampunk decor. I realize that this is an amusement park, but don't they have any aesthetic sensibilities at all?

I hope you went to City Hall to review the Certificate of Compliance.
