Life is a Journey

As you know, I had breakfast for lunch on Friday at the Storyteller Cafe. While I was waiting for my turn to go to the buffet, I pulled out my camera and wanted to take some shots of the many little details in this beautiful restaurant. All of these shots were taken from my table. The first one gives you an idea of what caught my eye. I zoomed in to get a detailed look at the shade and the figures on the wall.  A little bit closer, this time without the shade. Then I looked slightly to my right and these beauties caught my eye. And then.... This guy stopped by my table and I melted and completely forgot about taking more pictures!

Oooh, that was awful, lol. My friend arrived and we got into my car and got on the road. I was excited! We're going along on the freeway when all of a sudden she tells me that she didn't get the tickets for Knotts but she would buy them soon. I was confused...I thought we were on our way to Knotts So I asked her. Miscommunication! No, she wanted to go shopping at Downtown Disney today. OK! I'm glad I asked before I passed the Harbor Blvd. exit! So we did some shopping and then decided to have lunch. We went to the Storyteller Cafe in the Grand Californian and were informed that they were still serving breakfast. Breakfast for lunch works for me! And that's what we did. Sorry to disappoint you those of you that were expecting pictures :-( However, we did pick a date and are going to Knotts on March 5th. For sure!

Guess where I'm going today? Knott's! No, not for chicken dinner...I mean I am actually going INSIDE the Park!! Woohoo! My friend Carla invited me to go. Apparently she's got some discount tickets already in hand so how could I say no? Charging up the camera batteries now....

Early morning start to what, you may ask. Well.....catching up on my podcasts. As I type, I am listening to The Disneyland Gazette podcast, chock full of great info. Next, I'll listen to the latest episodes of The Paranormal Podcast, Darkness Radio and This American Life. I'll probably take a break to make some breakfast (scrambled eggs, cheese and salsa with flour tortillas) and then I'll sit down to watch The Paranormal Report which is always informative and very interesting. All of these are great and highly recommended by yours truly.
