Another Visit To The Parks

I had to go back to the Parks because I had missed a few things and...well...I just love it there, LOL. This little guy by Mater's Jam-BOO-ree is adorable! I tried several times to get a decent shot of the window displays in Ramon's but the lighting was never quite right. This one reminded me of Sugar Skull art and I'm willing to bet there is a hidden Mickey somewhere in there! I completely missed this little guy the last time I was there. It wasn't dark enough to see but the trees are full of purple lights. It looks great! Believe it or not, I did not notice the bats flying out of the tower on my last visit. Let it be known that I would make a terrible eye witness! This is such a cute idea! Now we are at Disneyland and I am sitting on the upper level of the Hungry Bear restaurant. Fantasmic Glows Part 2

Welcome back! You know, the wonderful thing about having an annual pass is that you don't feel pressured to "do it all" when you are at the Park. My son and I had a leisurely dinner, then sat and talked and just enjoyed sitting by the Rivers of America and watching the Mark Twain sail by. When we were finally ready to do some walking, we used the Hungry Bear's back stairs and came upon this - a not so very camouflaged watercraft of some kind. Once we were on the lower level we paused to admire the river yet again. A quick stop in the bathroom presented another photo opportunity. This is for you, Dave! These rather large tiles are above the sinks and quite pretty, I think! Oh look! It's the Mark Twain....again! I took my son to the little used bypass that goes along the river and we watched people as they reached the end of their Splash Mountain plunge.
