Lamps and Trees

Image
I didn't know what to title this post, LOL. I noticed this gorgeous lamp at the entrance to one of the bathrooms on Main Street. I want it. I've always admired the stately trees that are in front of the Main Street Station. Oh, if trees could talk! I walked over to DCA just because I could. The bridge looked lovely. It was still quite warm so I sat down outside of Starbucks and enjoyed the view. I also couldn't get enough photos of the Circle Carthay Theater... ...or the Red Car Trolly. Ah, my favorite - a Very Berry Refresher. So maybe I did go a little overboard with the Circle Carthay but hey, I had not been to DCA in 297-ish days!

Disneyland Exploration

OK, let's continue walking through Disneyland, shall we? We all know that there is GREAT themeing in the Park but do you realize the extent of it? For example, if you were in New Orleans waaaay back in the day, you would see large sailing ships in the harbor. You might even see the tops of those sails if you were a few blocks away. And look at this! Standing in front of Pirates, if you look up, you see this! Kinda makes you feel like you've gone back in time, doesn't it? Have you ever wondered where Frontierland ends and New Orleans Square begins? I found the exact spot! Carefully examine the photo below. Frontierland fencing to the left and New Orleans Square to the right. This shirt is so cute. I love Nerd Mickey. I have it on good authority that he watches The Big Bang Theory. This is a very nice Snow White tee. Love this purse!! This one too! Nice coordinating accessories, right? These aren't new but they are so nice. REAL plates f

Halloween Season Begins!

Image
I went to Disneyland on Friday the 13th knowing that the Halloween goodies would be open to all but not fully realizing just how many people would go! Getting there was a nightmare...the last 4 miles took FOREVER. Thanks to some jerks that kept cutting into my lane, I missed getting into the parking structure. They closed it as I arrived. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I was rerouted to the Woody parking lot - ugh, talk about inconvenient! It took an additional 20 minutes to get to the parking lot and then 10 minutes to wait for a bus. By the time I actually got to the Park I was starving so the first order of business was to EAT! My friend from work met me at the Park and she had never been to the Jolly Holiday Bakery so that's where we went to grab a sandwich. Before placing my order, I snapped pics of the Halloween goodies....make sure you click on the pictures to enlarge them. You'll be able to smell the desserts. I promise! This chocolate cookie crumb cheesecake is what

Frontierland, Haunted Mansion and more...

If you didn't know, Big Thunder is under refurbishment and it will be quite a while before it opens - February of next year! If only my camera lens was a bit smaller I could have forced it through this opening, LOL! I noticed that a rogue pirate was climbing the mast of the Columbia. Wait, that ain't no pirate! The Haunted Mansion is down until the 12th of this month in preparation for Haunted Mansion Holiday. I managed to find a hole to look through. Yup, those are Halloween decorations waiting to be unveiled!  It was quite muggy so I sat for a spell and enjoyed the views... OK, time to walk around a bit! Here is a cute and clever sign for you to examine. Jack Skellington is only too happy to inform you! I love these! These are the most amazing hanging plants EVER! I know, I know, it's just a plant. but since I haven't been to the park in 327 days, everything looks new to me! I think this would l
