My Dapper Day Faves, Part 2

Image
While I was waiting for a table at the Carnation Cafe, I noticed an really cool looking family walking by and I ran after them! I love, love, love this young lady's outfit! Check it out - her parents participated, too! Don't they look GREAT? I had a great lunch at the Carnation Cafe. My friend Mallory and I recorded a Diningland segment at the restaurant! It will be on the next episode of The Disneyland Gazette . Here's a shot of my meatloaf. If you spot yourself here please share with your friends and family.  More Dapper Day to come!

My Dapper Day Faves, Part 1

I have always, always, always wanted to participate in Dapper Day but for one reason or another, things just don't fall into place. But this year I wanted to go to the Parks and at least take in the atmosphere and energy created by all of these totally cool people that DID participate! Some people had new clothing made specifically for them with a Disney theme, others wore authentic vintage clothing and all of them were awesome! If you spot yourself here, please share my blog with your friends and family! I love that her dress is Mickey themed! This young lady told me that she pulled together her outfit using things she already had in her closet. That's it for now....more Dapper Day coming soon!

Do you ever look up?

I love the way Disneyland shops are decorated. Most people never look up - I always do. Today I was leisurely inspecting new merchandise on Main Street and something made me look up. This is not the first time I've taken photos of this chandelier but every time I see it, it's new to me. It's just so darn gorgeous. And then my eyes focused on the items behind it... Can you imagine how much fun it is to go on the hunt for these items? Boy, that's a job I want! Make sure you click on the photo to enlarge it - there's just so many neat things to see. I'm sure that many of these items have been in Disney storage and are rotated seasonally but they always make me smile because I appreciate the detail that is put into an area that many never even notice. And now for a little bit of news... I'm still working which is GOOD. My Internet access is limited which is BAD. Phooey, I say! I am still with The Disneyland Gazette and now I am doing a coup
