Life is a Journey

That's right - I missed it. My son got sick :-( I took a video inside the Star Traders so you could see the new spiffed up version of it. I like it.

Today is the day! You know I'll have my camera with me. I am going to the Park around noon to scope out the crowds and see if there is anything photo worthy , LOL. My son will meet me there at 4 p.m. Tomorrow you shall have my report! Click here and look at this poor little guy!

...and several of you have asked for my review. Well... It was good but it did seem a bit slow in spots - lots of dialogue between Capt. Jack and others but I guess it was needed to give you insight into their "back story". All in all, it was good. I did not sit there wondering when the movie was going to end. (To me, that's an indicator that a movie ain't that great, LOL.) I would like to see it again, just to make sure I understood certain parts! Oh!  I spotted a hidden Mickey on one of the ships!!!!  Unfortunately, I didn't stay through the credits - I was outvoted by my family and I guess I'm the only geek that watches the credits - so I have no idea if there was any little surprise as in the previous movies. I thought Penelope Cruz was great in her role as were all of the actors. Very good cast and I didn't miss "those other two" AT ALL! To wrap it up, go see it. It's good.

It's a sleepy Sunday morning...at least for me. I've already had some coffee but not enough, I guess. Still have one eye closed.  I think I'll go get some breakfast somewhere. I get to go home Tuesday night which is a good thing; I miss my bed!

I met up with my cousin Connie, yes, same name, and the plan was to have a few drinks and some munchies. We ended up at Tortilla Joe's because the line was short and waited about half hour to get in. It was a nice evening and DD was alive and buzzing. Did I take my camera? Yes. Did I remember to take pictures? Well... My intention was to take a picture of my Margarita and appetizer but once that drink was set on the table, my cousin and I were so wrapped up in our conversation that I forgot all about the pictures. Let me tell you, those drinks are very will made. I was going to have two or three...but one was enough!!! We sat upstairs in the bar area and had a good view of people dancing. My cousin and I decided to walk the length of DD because we needed to sober up before going home, LOL  Well, that's about it, sorry there are no pics. Guess I'll have to go back and recreate the scene of the crime for y'all!

I always knew I had a great relationship with my son but the proof came out in force yesterday morning when I received a phone call telling me that I was going to be his guest at the STAR TOURS PREVIEW ON MAY 25TH!!! I think I scared the neighbors with my screaming, lol.....
