Life is a Journey

Before we continue with SoundSational, I'd like to wish a very happy birthday to my favorite place on this planet - DISNEYLAND!! The other day I said the costumes in this parade were awesome. All except these...they are just plain WEIRD! José Carioca is dancing up a storm...and so was I because the music is that good! Now here comes Donald. See ya next time!

We continue our look at this gorgeous, colorful parade. I know there are pictures all over the Internet but I had to share my shots with you - besides, I needed something for this blog! By the time Aladdin came around, I decided to try and focus in on some details. Abu is so cute!!! Next up are dancers from under the sea... Just look at this float! I love these little guys! HELLO!!!! I finally got to the Park Wednesday afternoon! I will be posting a few pictures over the next few days....so let's get started! The crowd is eagerly waiting for Soundsational. The parade starts with these great drummers. These guys are better than great, they are awesome! I just LOVE the giant Mickey head! Goofy is enjoying the music. Check out THIS costume! I think the costumes in this parade are wonderful. Yay, Genie! This was my first time seeing Soundsational and I have to say I really, really liked it! That's it for now, folks.  More to follow!

Several of you have asked me to keep tabs on my brother-in-law's car restoration. If you want to see the first post about this, you can find it here . I spent the 4th at my sister's house and thought I'd ask my brother-in-law what he has done to the car. For starters, he washed it, LOL. Then he showed me how these long, narrow panels come off for easier access to the engine... He also removed the running boards and is treating them with a rust removal product. Will take more pics next time I go over.   :-)

Everybody is busy getting ready to either host or attend a barbeque, right? Other people are hitting all the sales.
