Disneyland Hotel Area

Here are a few more shots from the Disneyland Hotel area...
Below you see the view as I'm looking back towards the waterfalls.


Looking up at the hotel tower that will soon be refurbished. In this photo you can also see what once was a unique gift shop. Well, it still is but back in the 1980's, I guess sales were dropping so they turned the back end of the store (pictured here) into an arcade. I hated it but my son loved it.


Below, my friend points out the area where they used to have a water show many, many years ago. This area would make a great little stage where they could have live music. But nobody asked me for my opinion, right?

That's it for now. Next week I'll have photos of a mini Jungle Cruise! I hope everyone has a great 4th of July weekend.

Connie, thanks so much for this detailed look at the waterfall. In years to come I am sure you will treasure these even more than now. I am sadden by this loss.

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
