Walking AROUND DCA Part 2

As you can see from this photo, I did my walk around DCA while I was headed to the D23 Expo. Hey, I killed two birds with one stone. And it was messy.


DCA is still to my left and the majority of this walk covers the backstage area. Or rather, what we are allowed to see of the backstage area.

Yes, I walked up to the gate!


I continued walking along West Street and noticed that the sidewalk winds around some trees. OK, let's wind!


Not much to see except plants, plant and MORE plants...

Well, some of the photos show nicely landscaped walkways, which is more than I'd expect to see around an amusement park.

When are you going to take pictures while flying OVER California Adventure?

Upside down Christmas Trees?

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
