Balloons and Chocolate Easter Eggs

When you think of Disneyland, don't you usually think of balloons and chocolate Easter eggs?
Well you should!

It was an absolutely perfect day (weather-wise) to
go to the Park.

Oh, you thought I was going to post pictures of balloons and chocolate Easter eggs? Be patient!

I think Spring might be the cheeriest time of year in the Park. I love all those pretty flowers.

I really enjoyed the Easter lilies by the flag pole, too.

Doesn't this remind you of a magical path
to be followed?

Let's not forget about the hanging baskets in abundance on Main Street!

Guess what? Now it's time for chocolate Easter eggs! I don't remember ever seeing these for sale during previous Easter seasons but they look yummy and I am sure they are a big hit.

What's that? You need more chocolate Easter egg goodness? OK, here you go!

If you're like me, you enjoy taking in all the little details in Disneyland, the things most people don't take the time to notice. For you, I present
the Candy Palace ceiling.

The Next, I paused to admire the buildings and maybe get a new cover photo for my Facebook page.

You've been patient....I give you BALLOONS!

What? You want to experience the balloons? OK, here's a brief snippet - good thing I anticipated your wants and needs, right?

For all of you retro geeks, feast  your eyes on these totally cool serving dishes.

There are special eggs hidden throughout the Parks - quite frankly I had forgotten about them until I spotted this Goofy egg near the entrance to the lockers on Main Street.

I had "linner" at the Plaza Inn and recorded a Diningland segment for a future episode of
The Disneyland Gazette. The pot roast was yummy.

And that brings us to the end of our visit...sorta.
Come back in a couple of days for a peek at Mickey and the Magical Map!
