I did the CHOC Walk Part Three

The walk begins! I thought this sign might be of interest to some of you.


You can see that it was drizzling and it continued for a while as we walked. The ground was very slippery and one poor man fell down!

We circled the hub....


I glance back at my fellow Gazette mates:  Leigh, Chuck, Bill, Myrna and Luke, our fearless leader.

 Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather were on hand to greet us.

Fantasyland looked very inviting...but we had to walk
through Frontierland first.

Goofy was on hand to entertain us.

Gee, no line at Big Thunder.

Once in Fantasyland, we see Rapunzel and Flynn!

Naturally, Luke strikes a pose!
Next is a short (and not very well shot) video of the Princesses riding the Carousel.

Upside down Christmas Trees?

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. I had a great bacon cheeseburger and then walked off my lunch by window shopping. A life sized Santa! (And he looks a bit creepy the way he's standing there. "Hey baby.." MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
