Getting back into the swing of things...

It's been a rough couple of days...

I came back to work only to be told that I will no longer have a job as of February 1st!
Ya, it was a big shocker to me, too. That being said, everything else is back to "normal" and I will begin posting on a regular basis again. Below is a little video I put together taken on my last night in Florida.

There is a wonderful little town called Ocala, which I dearly love. I am providing links to two sites, one here and one here, so you can have a little information about the place.

OOPS! I just realized that I had posted some of the previous video earlier in the week. Oh well.. at least this one contains new footage, LOL.

Peter said I tired him how SO MUCH that I can't go back to Florida for at least two years.

Oh my gosh, Connie, I am so sorry about that. I've been there, so I definitely know how you feel. Hopefully something will come along soon...

Sorry to hear about your job, Connie. What a horrible thing to be hit with after coming back from vacation.

Connie - so sorry to hear the news. I hope you are able to find something quickly in the new year. Use your blog to put some feelers out there! If I can help, let me know.

Hi Connie
Wow want a bummer you come back from a great vacation and then get hit with that news. I went thru a layoff over the summer and finally found a new job in Sept. Now that I have been here 3 months it was the best thing that could have happened, wish I had found this job 15 years ago. I wish the same for you in the New Year.
Stay Positive and Happy

I'm so sorry to hear about your job. Hopefully you'll only be unemployed JUST long enough to enjoy a break from the 9-to-5 routine, and not so long as to create worry. It's a tough economy, but there ARE jobs out there.

Hope you're having a Merry Christmas in spite of it all, and that 2011 is a better year for ALL of us.
