Crowded, crowded, crowded.

Last Thursday, I decided to go to Disneyland. I figured the Park would be nice and empty. After all, Spring Break is over, kids are in school, summer vacation hasn't started.
Boy, did I get the shock of my life.

I am not exaggerating when I say it took 20 minutes to get through "security".

I was not amused.

I stopped at the Carnation Cafe for breakfast. Luckily, I only had to wait 5 minutes because I was a party of one. Yay for one! I have a yummy iced mocha and the apple pancakes.
They are huge - couldn't finish them!

I decided to go to Frontierland after breakfast to see if the Mark Twain was running.
Luckily, it was!

But what's this??? The sound of an electric saw caught my ear and made me look to my left.

The Golden Horseshoe was closed but I love the way
they cover the building with this screen.

I hurried over to catch the Mark Twain before she departed and took a few photos...

This guy has the best seat in the house, LOL!

Next, I walked over to Star Tours on the slim chance that they might be doing a soft opening.
No such luck.

This won't be stroller parking for much longer!!

Neato Star Tours merchandise...

This shirt might make its way into my son's closet.

This hat is hilarious.

A 50 minute wait for this thing? UGH, time to leave...too crowded for me.

I cracked up when I saw this. I bet it looks great at night!

Two new posters....new to me, that is.

I walked over to the kennels in the hopes of getting some photos...

Not much to see...

And that completes this visit to Disneyland, folks!

I just love your updates and trips to the park. They make me feel as if I were there. You tend to 'eye' the same things I would.

Apple pancakes....oh if only I could.

No, no, no....I shall not buy, I shall no buy. That yoda hat looks so cool. Maybe someday soon.

That poster of Monorail Red over the sub lagoon and with space mt in the background makes my heart skip a beat. Just wonderful.
Oof, those crowds would have made my heart sink. So strange, a friend was there just a week ago and told me how empty and beautiful it was (it was a Thursday).
We've been to the park several times in the late April-early May period & had low Park attendance. Most times. made even less due to rain showers.
