I went to Downtown Disney last night...

I met up with my cousin Connie, yes, same name, and the plan was to have a few drinks and some munchies. We ended up at Tortilla Joe's because the line was short and waited about half hour to get in. It was a nice evening and DD was alive and buzzing. Did I take my camera? Yes. Did I remember to take pictures? Well...

My intention was to take a picture of my Margarita and appetizer but once that drink was set on the table, my cousin and I were so wrapped up in our conversation that I forgot all about the pictures. Let me tell you, those drinks are very will made. I was going to have two or three...but one was enough!!! We sat upstairs in the bar area and had a good view of people dancing. My cousin and I decided to walk the length of DD because we needed to sober up before going home, LOL  Well, that's about it, sorry there are no pics. Guess I'll have to go back and recreate the scene of the crime for y'all!

Connie, I was there last night too! Did you relize that Star Tours was open to the general public up until about 7 p.m.? I got there just about 15 minutes after they closed down the line, darn it! But I know you are going to get to see it this week during the A.P. preview with your son....congratulations on that!

Upside down Christmas Trees?

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
