Lake Arrowhead Part Two

Hello again! We continue with my visit to Lake Arrowhead by showing you a few
of the shops in the center of town.





It's not very crowded, is it?


After snacking on a caramel apple we decide to head back to the cabin and sit in the backyard with Kona, the dog.



I was intrigued by the bark on the trees so I decided to do a "study"...









Now it was time to move to the front porch and relax!



While at the lake, I shot this video of something that disturbed me. I realize that the plant matter is naturally occurring but come on, somebody needs to clean up all the garbage!

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
