Disneyland 12-28-11 Part 2

If you followed along with us yesterday, you know that we are now making our way back to Disneyland. The entrance to DCA looked so pretty to me.

Just a moment later, glancing across towards Disneyland.

Oh yes, it was VERY crowded.

First stop - the Blue Ribbon Bakery. Oh decisions, decisions!

Yup, I got a Gingerbread Man.

While the "kids" went to stand in line for Star Tours, I planted myself at the Plaza Inn to enjoy my Gingerbread Man and Pumpkin Spice Latte. After devouring my goodies, I had to entertain myself...

So when did that "guard rail fence thing" go up???

La dee da....I'm getting bored...

Once the kiddos returned to fetch me, we walked by Santa's sleigh on our way to the Stage Door Cafe to grab a yummy corn dog.

I apologize for this lousy photo but while standing in line for Indiana Jones, I noticed just how much the plants have grown since this attraction opened.

I remember when you could clearly see the Temple of Doom. I actually like the overgrown look.

I was surprised to find that Indy has his very own trash can style!

If you missed my previous report on Disneyland trash cans, you can catch it here.

We had Fastpasses for the Haunted Mansion but still had some time to kill so I walked around the empty fountain area...

...while the kids took a churro break. And then the young'uns decided that they were tired! (So was I but I wasn't about to admit it!)

Two very tired but happy ladies taking a quick break on Main Street before walking back to our car.

But before we leave, I've gotta take a couple more pics!

It's been YEARS since I've spent the entire day (and night) at the Parks, LOL! And wouldn't you know it, I woke up sick the next day. Sheesh! By the time you are reading this, I will be on my merry way to...where else? My friends and I are staying at the Disneyland Hotel to ring in the New Year. Happy New Year everybody!

Really like that first shot of the DCA entrance...how it's lit up and decorated. Happy New Year!

That guard railing went up on the PeopleMover track whent they installed the Rocekt Rods up there in 1998. I say, bring back the PeopleMover!

Happy New Year to you, Connie!
