First View of Cars Land

Cool, cool, cool and COOL! This place is just so damn cool! Here is a quick glimpse of what I saw before I even entered Cars Land!



I barely took about 15 steps in and noticed all the neon and the majestic "mountain range" in the distance. Wow!


This little guy is adorable and I'm sorry it's such a lousy picture. I must photograph him when I go back next week in the day light!


I got the biggest kick out of watching guests - their faces were lit up almost as much as the neon! You could tell that everyone was blown away by Radiator Springs. I especially got a kick out of watching people walk up to Fillmore's house and pose for pictures with the hippie beads, LOL!!

Upside down Christmas Trees?

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
