I did the CHOC Walk Part One

I arrived at the Mickey and Friends parking structure at 5:00 a.m.! Unfortunately, I didn't get to park inside the structure so I had to park in the Pinocchio lot. I walked over towards the trams and saw that several booths were set up to get people registered but didn't see anybody there.


While waiting by the escalators, I took a shot of this sign.


Not very many early birds at this point in time...


They let us start walking along the tramway.... it felt weird being there, LOL!


At the front gate, Pluto, Mickey and Donald cast eerie grins...


LOL!


A few more begin to arrive...


I'm trying to take cover from the light drizzle of rain.


To quote an old Mervyn's commercial:  "open, open, open"


Soon we will be entering...


The gates are open!

Upside down Christmas Trees?

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
