Wandering Through the Park Part Seis

I don't know about you, but I can not pass this statue without stopping, for just a moment...and inevitably, I will get a small lump in my throat. I remember the day Walt Disney died. I remember crying my eyes out, afraid that Disneyland would close forever. Silly childish fears...
But as an adult, I am forever grateful for his genius.


These next two shots are basically the same - just used two different camera setting to see how different they would come out.
Not much different if you ask me!



I was sitting in the Hub waiting for my cousin to meet up with me so I decided to snap my view of Tomorrowland...


It quickly got dark, as you can see! Here are two quick shots of the Mark Train before I put my camera away for the night!



Well, that's it for this trip. I will be going to the Park again on Thursday so of course, I'll be taking more pictures!

Upside down Christmas Trees?

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
