Wandering through the Park Part Uno

The Major was supposed to be at Disneyland...I couldn’t find him anywhere. I looked in Frontierland for a guy wearing a cat skin hat…nothing.  I looked in Tomorrowland for a guy wearing a tinfoil hat…nothing. I even looked in ToonTown for a guy wearing a tinfoil hat shaped like a cat…nothing.  So I gave up and decided to go shooting instead. Photos folks, not guns. Although it’s been four score and seven years since I stopped at the shooting gallery….

On with the show....

My attempt at an "artsy" shot of the clock upon arrival.

I love this poster!

Like I said before, it's the little things. This fellow is up above the door to the bathroom. I guess if you are in a hurry to go to the bathroom, you aren't gonna look up and admire the fancy light fixtures, right?

One of the doors I used to go in and out of when I was a castmember.

Nice close-up of Dick Nunis' window.

OK, where have I been? I don't believe I've ever noticed that this was a "hotel".

As corny as this is going to sound, I felt like I really was in a small town...once I squinted my eyes and eliminated all the guests around me, ya, it worked.

I don't know...something about these buildings really resonated with me today.

Is it corny to say that I could almost feel Walt's spirit? Ya I know, I know, I've been watching too many ghost shows. Whatever...

As always, I love the signage at Disneyland.

Well folks, that's it for today. Stay tuned for Part Dos!

I rarely tire of shooting Main Street; so many details to capture there, as you pointed out. Looking forward to "dos."

No fooling; that Monorail poster is just yummy!
Now I am famous! I'm just going to have to get used to adoring fans.

Great photos of some details I've never seen before!

Sorry for all the post comments all at once...I'm just catching up on your latest posts!

I was at the park last Thursday after work and looked for both you and the Major. Well, I only stopped by to ride Ghost Galaxy and after that I bought some candy on Main St. and then went home, but while I was there I was looking at people much more than I ususally do, thinking it would be cool if I ran into one of you!
