A walk through DCA

I could no longer fight my Disney withdrawals so I went to DCA on Tuesday evening. I arrived around 8:00 p.m. and noticed that Guest Relations has been relocated in some ticket booths. I wonder if this is temporary?


Aw, I just love the new entrance!

The Golden Gate Bridge is long gone...

...and something cool is wrapped in green fabric!

You know that big "thing" over by Soarin' that spits out watery mist? Well, I walked under it and looked up...that's what you're looking at!


Grizzly Peak looked really neat at the sky began to darken.



I decided to pop into the Little Mermaid....


I'm headed up to Lake Arrowhead for a couple of days. Yes, again!! Will post when I get back home. Oh and here are some additional ebay auctions.

Thanks for the DCA update. The new entrance rocks. Can't wait for the Carthay Circle to be "unwrapped" from it's green fabric.

Looks like you had a good trip, even though you got there at 8 o'clock! Doesn't it close at 10?

I do like the new facade, but it's all the new stuff inside that I'm really looking forward to.

Upside down Christmas Trees?

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
