Buena Vista Street and Cars Land

This is gonna be a long one, folks! Seeing Buena Vista Street and Cars Land by day or by night - doesn't matter- they are spectacular!! Along with the "normal" snapshots I have included some details that the normal Joe misses in his rush to get "on the rides". Take your time, enlarge the photos and soak in the details.







I glanced in the window and saw these gloves on the steering wheel. I stopped dead in my tracks! What a cool display.



Tile work always makes me take a second look.





So I'm walking along and I see a mailbox on the wall. Hmmm....



Do the names mean anything to anyone?


This spectacular sign goes unnoticed by most guests.





Isn't this cool?





The detail on this alone is amazing. I could stare at it for hours.



Now it turns to night...











These 'flowers" are a hoot!






Another day, another visit!





I know I've said it before but I think the merchandise selection is the coolest!

I must say the detailing in the new park is simply amazing. As with all projects a-la Disney; but from the pictures I have seen, seems the details are overboard for sure.

Upside down Christmas Trees?

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
