I'm loving DCA!

I've said it before and I suppose you will tire of it eventually but I can't help it. I am totally wrapped up in it and loving DCA.

The Cozy Cone "Motel" is a delight. Ya sure, it is a series of snack stands but come on, LOOK AT IT! You can't walk by and not smile. You just can't!




The flowers, the lights, the planters - everything is a cone and I love it.


Lightning McQueen makes an appearance several times a day and the kids love it.


Believe it or not, they sell Mater teeth!!!!


I will be taking pictures here for years to come.





Oh Cozy Cone, I love you, LOL.


Back on Buena Vista Street, I like that the Chamber of Commerce is now Guest Relations.

I rode Mater's Junkyard Jamboree for the first time. Love the "decorating" that he did.
Oh and yes, I had a blast. My face hurt from grinning.

Hey, it's nice to see daytime photos! Night is cool, but you can sure see stuff better, ha ha. How many times have you been to the "new" DCA so far, Connie?

Upside down Christmas Trees?

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
