Dinner at the Carthay Circle Part 2

HA!  I fooled you! Actually, these pictures were taken after we had dinner at the Carthay Circle so I'm not really fibbing, right? A quick peek inside Off The Page and I knew I had to post this first shot on Facebook for my Star Wars lovin' friends.


The Mad T Party was just starting up so we walked over there to investigate. The stage is really cool, especially once it gets darker. I really want to go back some night, buy a drink, sit back and just dig it!



I believe this young lady is a castmember...I sure hope so!



This guy was really cool to watch!

 Oh and let me tell you, the merchandise for Mad T Party is GREAT!!!





After hanging out at the Mad T Party, we went into Monsters Inc. I took a few pics with my phone mainly because I wondered if they would be any good. The verdict? Not so much. Most were blurry so they got deleted. These are the best of the bunch.

After Monsters Inc., we went back to Cars Land. Big surprise, no?







I think this is my favorite shop in Cars Land.

Upside down Christmas Trees?

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
