Halloween Is In The Air! Part 5

And now...a brief visit to Disneyland!

I love seeing all the Fall colors in the Park, especially in the planters.

Yes, I had to take advantage of this, LOL.

I decided to ride the Mark Twain...It was nice to see one of the keel boats.

It was also nice to see guests enjoying the island!


They have added quite a few Weeping Willows along the shoreline. I think it's a nice touch.



It's also a lot easier to see the Fort now. I just wish they would put roofs on the towers so that it at least looks like it used to even if we no longer have access to it.

It's been a while since I've been on the island. Seeing these stairs made me want to go back and explore it again.

 It was really hot and muggy so I decided to leave and relax a while in the lobby of the Grand Californian. On my way out, I checked out the goodies in the Candy Palace. These rice crispy treats are BEYOND adorable!



It was nice to see the planters in Downtown Disney looking festive!
 

Well folks, our visit has come to an end but don't worry, I went back a few days later!

Upside down Christmas Trees?

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
