Quick Evening Visit to Disneyland

I decided to go to the Park after work on Wednesday. Don't worry, I didn't miss Ghost Hunters International - I set my DVR to record the entire series!

We begin our visit with the customary clock arrival shot.

I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw these flashing balloons!!

Had to get Walt's silhouette against the castle.

And of course, the carousel always looks gorgeous at night!

Oh! Look how much we've done in just a few minutes!

Actually, I was surprised that all of the Christmas decorations are gone from the Park except for the Small World Holiday overlay.

In line for the Monorail, it occurred to me that I've never really noticed this building for the Autopia before...I guess I need to ride the Monorail more often. You see so much from up there!

For those of you who like pictures of the submarines at night...
(You know who you are!)

Here is a rather retro looking control board for the Monorail.

Tomorrowland at night. Lovely - but not as lovely as the early 80's Tomorrowland.

Still waiting for the Monorail, I looked to my left and the old PeopleMover track looked rather...spooky.

I've always liked this part of the Autopia building at night...

Next, I headed over to investigate something I heard over at disneyshawn about the old rocket ships...
It turned out to be true!!

This has turned out to be my favorite store at Disneyland. I love the way they decorate it for whatever season we're in. Such detail!

We made a quick stop at the arcade because my cousin wanted to visit with Esmeralda and get her fortune. While I was waiting, the colors of these machines caught my eye. So cheerful!

And here she is, Esmeralda!

My cousin getting her fortune...which she didn't like, LOL!

See you next time!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who pays attention to Esmeralda!

You got some great night shots; even the picture of the mylar balloons is kind of surreal. Love the Peter Pan clock tower too.
