Rod Stewart Concert Continued...

Before we continue, I'd like to say that 45 years ago, last night, I was in heaven. Does that make sense? It will.

45 years ago (last night) I was at Dodger Stadium eagerly waiting for a certain concert to begin. My first concert ever.....THE BEATLES!!!

Oh what a night!!! (I'll never forget it!)
 
I've never been one to say that I loved Rod Stewart. You know, his songs would come on the radio and I'd listen but I wouldn't go out and buy his music. However....I have to say that I was honestly amazed by his performance. His band is incredible!

Wow, you saw the Beatles? Incredible! I'm told that all you would hear is high-pitched shrieks. And their shows were only about 30 minutes long (I've heard live recordings, they're ridiculously short!).

We interrupt our Disneyland visit to bring you a few pics from Tom's Farms . Ever heard of it? Unless you live in Southern California, probably not. It's a neato keen place and I really dig it. I had not been there in 10 years so it was high time I paid them a visit. They have tons of outdoor seating and it's a great place to people watch. MLB Food Fest

The Food Fest was held at The Reef in Downtown LA. Each person got this bracelet with an RFID chip. That chip would keep track of the food offerings you selected inside and once you reached your limit, it would no longer work. A list of the beers being offered. The first thing I tried was Bhan Mi which consisted of slab bacon, asian slaw, sriracha mayo and a hot dog bun. Then I tired the Wisconsin Ultimate Cheese Fry which consisted of craft beer fries, cheddar cheese sauce, cheddar cheese curds, apple wood smoked bacon and minced chives. Next up were the Sisig Fries which consisted of sisig marinated chicken, Fresno chiles, fried yams, sriracha cilantro crema over fries. While I was in line for the Elote Nuggets, I took a short video so you could see the Food Fest. These were my favorite! Elote Nuggets consisting of corn nuggets, queso cotija, cayenne mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Fish and Chips from London! Batt
