Disneyland Late NIght

So I went to Disneyland last night to watch the fireworks and thank my Dad for making me such a BIG Disneyland fan.

These pictures don't seem to be as clear as others I've taken in the past. I'm worried that my faithful camera might be on its last leg :-(

I love these balloons.

As I was walking by Pixie Hollow, I noticed the beautiful lights in the lake.

Here is a short video of the light show.

I waited for the fireworks in front of Small World.

These were taken with my iPhone...still learning how to use it!

Back to the regular camera so you can see how minimal the crowds were.

This would be a great place to sit and relax if it wasn't a smoking section.

I really don't know what possessed me to take this photo, LOL!

Dare I say it? The backside of Walt...

My idea of how to end the evening. By the way, this chocolate chunk brownie was quite good.

As I was about to leave the Park, I was asked if I wanted to answer a few questions about food and beverages so I said yes. Then I found out I was going inside this building!

We're going in the side door...

I sat at one of these computers and took a six minute survey.

And now it was time to leave but I was stoked that I got to go inside.

And that, my dear friends, was how I spent my evening!

I was asked to do one of those surveys as well once; kind of surprised they didn't give anything out at the end...even a pin or some little trinket like that!

I have to say that I am so very happy that 'GMw Mr. L' is back with us. Never take things at the park for granted; your picture of the Oprah House just reminded me that it is back and I am thankful for that.
The pictures of the area back around the Matterhorn with the trash cans is so cool. I love the feeling in this are at exactly this time of night.

:: snicker/snicker :: you said "the back side of Walt" heheheheehehe.

Sounds like an incredible evening. The crowds were definitely thin! Don't think I'll be as fortunate next month at Disney World.

What a nice way to honor you father!

I really like your old Motor Boat Cruise dock photo. Are you sure that's currently a smoking section? It seems like they keep moving it back and forth from that spot to the former location of the Fantasyland Autopia entrance. Last I heard, they moved it away from the old Motor Boat area again because people waiting for the parades could smell it and were complaining. But I agree with you....it would be a great place to kick back as long as there wasn't any smoke around!

I'm glad you took pics inside the survey room. I've never been in there!
