CHOC Walk at Disneyland 2011

I did it! Out of shape, recovering from a bad cold/sinus infection, still coughing but I did it. Whew!! So let's get started, shall we?  Below you see my arrival at the Mickey and Friends parking structure.

And now, I'm heading down to the tram area.

I have entered the Park!

Look at all those people! (In the window, folks.)

I was heading towards the castle and these folks are on their way out of Disneyland.

Making our way across the wooden bridge towards Frontierland...

We walked up and around Big Thunder Ranch and into Fantasyland. That's where I found these two!

When I got to the Teacups, I was surprised to see they were running. Empty, of course, but running.

See?

A few steps down and there's Tiana!

Oh to have the Park this empty all to myself!

There's a slow down up ahead and I don't know why.

We're making our way towards Tomorrowland...

Lookie here...I think this is the extended queue for Star Tours.

We've left Tomorrowland and are heading back to Main Street.

Heading up Main Street towards the train station...

Several castmembers were out to cheer us on, including Oscar!

Guests are already lining up waiting for Disneyland to open!

And now, we walk to DCA!

Looking ahead, I see we are going to enter the backstage area.

These next few photos aren't very exciting but I knew you'd want to see the backstage area...right?

This is one of the castmember break areas.

Look! I caught the Monorail going overhead!

A high school band was on hand to motivate us...

Boy, this was a long post, wasn't it? I'm tired....my brain hurts. I don't want to write any more. There still more but we shall continue this tomorrow.

Congrats Connie and thanks for your time and effort. I know the kids appreciate your and the efforts of all those who were with you. Good cause.

Again - sorry we couldn't walk together! It was your blog that got me to do it in the first place. Will have to try again next year!
Great job, Connie! Looks like a lot of people participated. Looking forward to more photos! Meanwhile, Rapunzel sure is cute.
