More No Crowds (huh?)

Image
The other day I posted a few pics from my last visit to Disneyland showing that there were no crowds. Those days don't happen too often, let me tell you. I finally got around do downloading the rest of my pics so here they are for you to enjoy. In New Orleans Square, I hid behind a construction wall. In Fantasyland there is a shop with all sorts of girlie goodies and I'm willing to bet that no one ever notices this gorgeous stained glass window! In line for the Jungle Cruise and no one is behind me! You've seen a couple of these before but here are all the shots in sequential order. A ride around the Park before heading back to the hotel. Once at the Grand Californian, I take a few shots from the balcony. And later that night... That's it for now!

Alice in Wonderland!

Guess what? The Alice in Wonderland attraction has reopened! Many thanks to The Disneyland Gazette for providing this video!

I took these photos when we went to the Alice in Wonderland Design Exhibition. I highly recommend it! No pictures were allowed so I was literally shooting from the hip, trying to be inconspicuous!

History, Alice in Wonderland and Grammy Museum

Image
All in one day! Wow, this is going to be a quick post because I'm too tired to go into detail and post pictures. I promise I will do both soon. However , if you ever have the chance, take any of the tours offered by the Los Angeles Conservancy. They are fascinating ! Union Station is truly beautiful and I have the pictures to prove it. We stopped in at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising for a FREE Alice in Wonderland exhibit. Costumes from the movie were on display as well as clothing inspired by those costumes. And...the gift shop has the most amazing AIW merchandise. Amazing! Reasonably priced, too!! Our next stop was the Grammy museum. I could have spent hours there, it's that good. I want to go back and I think I will take my son (who is a musician) and it will be a great, great, great way to spend the day together. Finally, we ended our day sharing appetizers and drinking iced tea at Trader Vic's. Wow, what a fabulous place! I have to go back for there ...
