First things first...the new parking structure is almost complete. It appears that the new structure will connect to the original one on section C of each floor. I got the above photo by positioning my phone very carefully on the small opening you see here! Here are a couple more views for you... Even though the photos on this blog can be enlarged by clicking on them, I know some of you prefer video! Finally in the Park! I make my way to the Opera House to see the Aladdin preview! The costumes are great. Why are actresses so TINY? Just looking around... The Aladdin preview was GREAT! I wasn't sure what to expect and I wasn't sure if I'd like it but WOW! The imagry, the CGI, WOW!! After the preview my face hurt from grinning so much. As I exited the Opera House, the first thing I see is new Aladdin headgear. So cute! And these ears are gorgeous! I had to be there, I simply HAD to be there. It was crowded and it was hot but I had made up my mind that I would ignore it and enjoy the fact that I was there. Paint the Night was BEYOND phenomenal. I did not film it, I did not Tweet it, I did not Periscope it because I needed to be fully there in the moment, taking it all in. I am not ashamed to say that tears were flowing like a broken water pipe. The parade brought back memories of waiting (sometimes impatiently) and also the satisfaction and wonder of the original Electrical Parade. The fireworks had me looking left, right, up and down constantly. Wow, what a show! Again, I simply watched and experienced the show. You can find tons of videos on YouTube If you so desire. Fantasmic Glows Part 1

I'm sorry it has taken so long to get this post up but things just seem to pop up out of nowhere...like looking for a job, LOL. The Fantasmic! Glow With The Show Premiere was held on August 28th but as you can see below, I had to register (in person) on Aug 14th. I was given the registration confirmation you see here. My son and I had previously decided to go to Disneyland for the fireworks on August 28th because that would have been my Dad's 100th birthday. And if you know me, you know that my Dad is the person that instilled and encouraged my love of Disneyland so I thought that watching the fireworks would be a fitting tribute to him. The bonus was being able to participate in the Annual Passholder premiere after the Park closed to the general public! Happy Birthday, Daddy!!
