Life is a Journey

NOTE: This should have posted back in December. I don't know what happened but it never posted!! Rather than delete it, I decided to go ahead and post it. Again, I know know why it never posted and I apologize because I know some of you look forward to my updates. I went to the Park about a week ago with two things in mind: I wanted to see all of the decorations, of course, but I also wanted to get some pics of me at the Park. The castle looked very festive and I couldn't wait for it to get dark so I could see it in all its glory! I got there around 1:00 pm and surprisingly, it wasn't very crowded. They had this vehicle parked in front of the castle and it made a fine photo opp! In all of my 62 years, this was the first time I ever got to sit in the driver's seat of a Disneyland vehicle! We are continuing our visit to DCA and the Festival of Holidays, with a quick visit to Disneyland, too! I had to get a close-up of these lights. They are just so darn cool. This blew my mind....can you believe I got a picture of this with NO PEOPLE???? Time to head on over to Disneyland! The Main Street train station was all decked out for the Candlelight Procession. Here's a short clip taken on Main Street. Here are some castle shots because really, you can never have too many castle shots, right? That basically wraps it up for my holiday visit to the Parks. I went to Disneyland yesterday and had a wonderful time window shopping! I found tons of cool stuff but before we begin, take a look at this video. It's soooo pretty and peaceful! OK, you ready??? The planters on Main Street are getting spruced up...or something. We often see old photos of the street cars, which I love, so I decided to film one as it went by. It looks really busy but it wasn't really that crowded until 3:00 pm. If you have little ones, you need to get this shirt! In Adventureland, I spotted this shirt and stopped dead in my tracks. And then...I saw THIS!!! A force of which is unknown to man miraculously made my credit card come out of my wallet...
