Disney Exhibit Part 5

Image
Imagine my surprised when I turned the corner and saw Iron Man!! Woohoo! My real favorite is Captain America! This was the first item that actually made me gasp - such a beauty! As soon as I saw this, I instantly remembered it. If you ask me, me belongs back in the Park. And this belongs in my living room, right? Now, take a good look at this dragon.... Maybe we should get a little closer... How about a whole lot closer? After that frightful experience, it was good to see one of the Country Bears ! Until next time...

Getting evacuated from the PeopleMover

Image
As evacuations go, it was pretty run of the mill. Except for the fact that I am afraid of heights... If you look at the photo below, you can see the light blue cars of the PeopleMover as they are approaching the America Sings building. Right by the trees...Go on, take a good look. That's where it stopped. STOPPED. A castmember came along and informed us that he would open our doors one car at a time and we would have to follow him up the track to an emergency exit. I sat there thinking, "You've got to be kidding me!!" I told the castmember that I was afraid of heights and he very calmly assured me that everything would be alright. I took his hand and stepped out of the vehicle. I was shaking like a leaf. He told me he had to go and attend to the guests in the next vehicle, then let go of my hand. I looked up the track to a previously unnoticed door and told myself, "You can do this" but I wasn't convinced! I don't know how long I stood there...

Another glimpse of Tomorrowland!

Here we see that the sun is almost gone...the lights are coming on...a magical time at Disneyland, even if I say so myself! For some reason, I think I took the above picture while riding the Peoplemover but I could be mistaken. This, of course, was taken while on the Peoplemover . I've always loved the lagoon at night. It looks so cool. OK, yellow subs...must be the 1990s?? Finally the Rocket Jets which scared me to death! But they sure look good at night, huh?
