Life is a Journey

Are you still wondering where I am? It's called Riverwalk Parkway and it is a jewel of a place. So tranquil.   If I had not been wearing my good jeans, I would have gone out on those rocks (above) to sit for a spell! Wow, we have our very own Stonehenge, lol. You have to admit, that's an odd looking rock...I'm just saying...   I was surprised to find that I had only been in the park 20 minutes but it felt like I had been there a couple of hours. It really did wonders for me. I hope you enjoyed the pics. I found a couple of other posts that I had started back in January and never finished so those will be up soon. I promise!

So as you know, I have a little gig working from home and I have to say that it's hard being stuck at home all day. It really is. Oh sure, you get to throw in a load of laundry or grab a snack but once you clock out, you are sill.....home...inside the house....haven't seen the light of day.  It's starting to get to me. On Saturday I woke up at my usual time (6:30) and I went into the kitchen to make some coffee. All of my roommates were dead (asleep) and I knew they would remain so for several hours. I showered, got dressed, grabbed my coffee and my purse and got in the car and started driving with no particular destination in mind. If only I had my Disneyland pass. (insert big sob here) I had heard about a park close by so I drove there and decided to walk around a bit. I am so glad I did. It was early in the morning and there was no one around except for ducks of all shapes and sizes. Within minutes I began to feel the tension melt away. This is what I needed. I walke...
