Life is a Journey

I got off of work early on the 20th so decided to go to the Parks. It was a gorgeous day but still a bit warm for my taste. I sat for a bit and enjoyed the view. Since it was hot, I got really thirsty but a big cup of water and some nice cold grapes soon cooled me down. Admiring the purple banners on my favorite store at DCA. And now a little Instagram magic! A quick peek in Elias & Company and I started drooling over these DCA specific Dooney & Bourke purses. Well, not literally drooling.... Then I went into the first shop in the Hollywood area and the store was full of cool costumes and Halloween merch. Next stop: Cars Land! Isn't this the cutest pumpkin patch ever? And these movie posters are a gas.....get it? A gas? I got hungry so decided to try the Burning Mac and Cheese. I liked it. I also got myself a cool tire pumpkin straw! Time to walk off that mac...

The last time I was in the Park I was experimenting with different camera apps. One in particular caught my attention and I tried to shoot several slow-motion videos but it just would not work. Frustrated, I decided to put the phone away and ride the Monorail and just relax. I began my journey in Tomorrowland and enjoyed the view all the way to the hotel. I decided to stay on board and once again pulled out my phone and turned on the camera app so that I could attempt to take another slow motion video. Once the ride was over I noticed that I had received a text message from a friend telling me to meet her on Main Street so I put the phone away and forgot all about the video. That is, until today. I watched the video and was disappointed that the slo-mo feature did not work. I was about to delete it when all of a sudden the speed changed and the video was in slow motion! I watched the entire video and really enjoyed being able to clearly see the sights that normally whizz by at ...

The rumors you've heard are true - the Honey Badger visited Disneyland. I first spotted him relaxing near City Hall on Main Street. The Disneyland Gazette team is on the job doing research to keep YOU in touch with The Land! Actually, Shawn told me that Luke was in the Park so we met up with him for a picture because the three of us hadn't been together since August of last year. Next stop is the Matterhorn which I was eager to ride! I know a lot of people have said that it is really bumpy and rough now but to be totally honest, I didn't think it was any different. Oh and short me had no problem with the new vehicle, LOL. Now I'm on the train, enjoying the view... Lo and behold, the Honey Badger is on the train, too! We did the Grand Circle Tour and decided to ride the Monorail over to the Disneyland Hotel for lunch. When we boarded, we were lucky enough to ride in the very front and guess who was with us? Yup, that pesky Honey Badger! ...

Welcome back, peeps! This is a continuation of my visit to Disneyland. Let's rest in the shade a bit. What? You don't want to rest in the shade? Sheesh. A little something for (you know who you are)... I was digging all the cool flowers. Ha! It's a UFO! Now would be a good time to ride the Monorail... Such a long line...I'll be here for hours! There goes Blue! Here comes Blue...goodie! A peek at Disneyland backstage area... See the Splash Mountain logs??? ...and now some shots of the Park from the Monorail... This ride ain't over yet....I got right back on! And this is where I apologize...I tried to take a picture of the construction near the DCA entrance and it came out blurry. Grrrr! So to make up for that blurry picture, feast your eyes on the burger I had at the Hungry Bear! I have to admit that I was a little disappointed - it had a strange tangy dressing that I did not care for. Sorta tasted like Miracle Whip and ketchup mixed...
