Life is a Journey

Yes, I went back for more Disney Christmas cheer! Get comfortable folks, this is going to be a long post! I'll share all of my pics with you today and then post videos tomorrow. You're welcome! The shooting gallery looks mighty festive, doesn't it? The Haunted Mansion was experiencing a few problems so while I waited, I attempted to take a pictures...I am quite surprised at how well the iPhone 5 does! I got to the Park or should I say, the area near the Park at 9:30 and the parking structure was already full! I got sent over to the Simba parkinig lot and by the time I actually walked through the gate at Disneyland, it was 10:40! Sheesh! My friends and I had a lunch reservation at Cafe Orleans for 12:50 wo we checked in a few minutes early and sat down to admire the decorations... After lunch which consisted of the Monte Cristo, we waddled over to Big Thunder Ranch. I had so much fun checking everything out that I didn't take many photos. Oops...

OK, let's continue walking through Disneyland, shall we? We all know that there is GREAT themeing in the Park but do you realize the extent of it? For example, if you were in New Orleans waaaay back in the day, you would see large sailing ships in the harbor. You might even see the tops of those sails if you were a few blocks away. And look at this! Standing in front of Pirates, if you look up, you see this! Kinda makes you feel like you've gone back in time, doesn't it? Have you ever wondered where Frontierland ends and New Orleans Square begins? I found the exact spot! Carefully examine the photo below. Frontierland fencing to the left and New Orleans Square to the right. This shirt is so cute. I love Nerd Mickey. I have it on good authority that he watches The Big Bang Theory. Howdy there, friends and neighbors. We've got pictures! Lots of them, and I'm sharing them all with you whether they are good, bad or indifferent. Why? Because as of this writing I've got a stupid head cold and I have no idea when I'll be going back to the Parks so enjoy it while you can. Today we finish up our Fantasmic Glow With The Show report and while I must admit that I didn't take any photos of the actual Fantasmic show (I got stuck in the back) I did take plenty of pictures of all the happy annual passholders in their flashing ear hats.  I gotta tell ya, I got the biggest kick out of those ears!
