The Columbia

Image
Today we are going to take a good look at the Columbia. It is a beautiful ship and I never get tired of watching her sail past me. I sat upstairs, towards the back at the Hungry Bear to drink something cold and cool down a bit since it was a miserably hot and humid day. I actually sat there for quite a while and watched the Columbia come and go, taking turns with the majestic Mark Twain before deciding to take a few photos. A quick look back to where she came from...   One last shot before she disappears down the river. Looking at these pictures makes you want to visit Disneyland, doesn't it? DOESN'T IT??? Guess what? I know someone that can help you with that! My good friend, Myrna Litt, is a certified Disney travel expert and she can help you plan a dream Disney vacation. Check out this link and be sure to tell her I sent you . Oh, and don't forget to ask about AP specials, too!

I finally got around do downloading the rest of my pics so here they are for you to enjoy. In New Orleans Square, I hid behind a construction wall. In Fantasyland there is a shop with all sorts of girlie goodies and I'm willing to bet that no one ever notices this gorgeous stained glass window! In line for the Jungle Cruise and no one is behind me! You've seen a couple of these before but here are all the shots in sequential order. A ride around the Park before heading back to the hotel. Once at the Grand Californian, I take a few shots from the balcony. And later that night... That's it for now!

If you didn't know, Big Thunder is under refurbishment and it will be quite a while before it opens - February of next year! If only my camera lens was a bit smaller I could have forced it through this opening, LOL! I noticed that a rogue pirate was climbing the mast of the Columbia. Wait, that ain't no pirate! The Haunted Mansion is down until the 12th of this month in preparation for Haunted Mansion Holiday. I managed to find a hole to look through. Yup, those are Halloween decorations waiting to be unveiled!  It was quite muggy so I sat for a spell and enjoyed the views... OK, time to walk around a bit! Here is a cute and clever sign for you to examine. Jack Skellington is only too happy to inform you! I love these! These are the most amazing hanging plants EVER! I know, I know, it's just a plant. but since I haven't been to the park in 327 days, everything looks new to me! I think this would l...
