Oogie Boogie's Halloween Bash

FUN!!! Oh my goodness, so much fun! I started my afternoon with a great lunch at Wine Country Trattoria. We spent some time going over the food guide... To kill some time we rode Monsters Inc. I love Roz! I tried the Howl-O-Ween and it was an epic failure. I threw it away. That's how bad it was. DO NOT waste your money on this. It consisted of Caramel Vodka and Honest Abe Apple Pie Cider. Genesis tried the Worms, Dice and Everything Nice and it was a thumbs up! Looked really cool, too! It consisted of Midori-Limeade Slush, Gummy Worms and Dice glow cube. Off to the Blue Sky Cellar to check-in for the party and then we left the Park to check-in to our hotel. We stayed at the Anaheim Marriott Suites. We dropped off our bags and then returned to DCA and the first Treat Trail we did was awesome. I present to you my Queen... We each got new ears! The Grizzly Peak Treat Trail was awesome. It had lots of atmosphere... ...a...

My Cruise: Ensenada!

I got up early Wednesday morning to find some coffee and naturally, I had my cameras in hand. In case you are wondering, I had a light break fast of two eggs o ver easy, turkey bacon and some hash browns. When I saw these wonderful chilies, I knew the good was going to be good. There were two "condiment" bars....I guess you could call them condiments? Various salsas from mild (eye wash, LOL) to super hot, cilantro, diced onion, etc. When I ordered my burrito, I started cracking up because the cooks were surprised that I got such a small burrito. They said that most people ...

My Cruise: Catalina!

Months earlier, I was perusing the Carnival website and looking at the excursions. Much to my surprise, I found a walking tour of the Casino for only $19 per person. I booked it immediately. While we've taken this cruise itinerary several times before, we've never done a tour so we were excited to get to the island and begin our day. Once on land, we checked-in with the tour operator and were told that we had approximately 30 minutes to kill before the tour started so we walked around for a bit just enjoying the old buildings. When it was time for our tour to start, we were very surprised when we were told to get on a tram. In my head I was thinking, "Oh oh, did I check-in to the wrong tour?" We followed the group and boarded the tram and the driver announced that we would first get to see the island from the hills and then we would go to the Casino. In actuality, we got much more! First, we went through a few of the streets near the beach area and o...
