Life is a Journey

Today it's all about ToonTown. These pictures are from the same folder as my previous post. They are from 2005, maybe. Or 2004, maybe again. In the grand scheme of things does it really matter? Hell yes, it does and that's why it annoys me to no end that I can't tell you exactly when these were taken. Phooey! Maybe I should have a glass of wine when I blog... Ha! Good idea! Here we see a stage of some sort but I didn't stick around long enough to find out why because I was hungry and headed to Frontierland. Nice assortment of ornaments... Next day, back at the Park! Is the light on? The giant Mickey Pumpkin is gone and now the spot is empty until the big tree comes in. They still have their Autumn colors out. Look! It's Jane from Tarzan!  HA! You thought I was nuts, didn't you? EVERYBODY knows this is Mary Poppins! Monorail Blue, my personal favorite. And now we head on over to ToonTown! I'm getting hungry...aren't you??

ToonTown!! If there wasn't a train sitting there, you might not know this was a train station as you approach! Getting closer... Ah, there it is, the ToonTown Station! Here's a closer look. Important information for all. At first glance, I thought the bird was part of the lamppost!! But he wasn't...he was just posing for his close-up, LOL. Ceiling detail... The "luggage" waiting to be loaded. From a different angle... I love the way the walls curve. Lots of ironwork here. Adorable weather vane. The train has arrived... ...and left! Here we're looking down the tracks towards Small World. Look closely. There's a lizard on the tracks. I caught the next train - this shot is taken from it. Looking at the station from the train... Still waiting to leave. Still waiting... The sign. We've got one more station to cover:  Frontierland!
