Life is a Journey

No, I didn't go horseback riding. I... - - - - I got... - - - - MY PASS!!! Yes, it's true. My son has been telling me for a couple of months that he wanted to buy an annual pass for me and things finally came together yesterday! While the weather was horribly humid and hot, I didn't care because it was at least 20 degrees cooler in Anaheim than it was in Riverside! Once I walked through the gate I sat down in front of City Hall and whipped out my phone because as I was sitting down, I remembered that I had the cool Disneyland app on my phone so I wanted to check the wait times, thus giving me an indication of what the crowd situation was like. (Although, the lack of a line at the entrance should have been a clue. I only waited ONE minute!) So...what was I going to do next? You'll find out in my next post! One of my relatives asked the question that I get all the time: "Don't you get bored going to Disneyland all the time." It has gotten to the point where I roll my eyes before I attempt to answer politely. Lately my response has been: "It's a photographer's dream location." Then I was asked: "How many times have you gone?" HA! I finally have an accurate answer to that question. When I renewed my pass in October last year, I started keeping the parking structure tickets. To date, I have gone 22 times. Yes, I've gotten my money's worth so this is proof that it is worth having an annual pass! Especially now that I'm unemployed. At least I know that I can go to Disneyland and just enjoy the place without having to spend any money. Although if you follow this blog, you know I usually eat there, LOL!!
