Since this post will be up a day or two after the official opening, I was afraid you were going to be bored already with the Little Mermaid stuff all over the Internet. But...I decided to show you my day anyway!! I actually started at Disneyland, arriving at 9:00 a.m. but I'll show you those pictures another time. Right now, let's get to the Little Mermaid attraction, shall we? There were two lines into DCA, I got into the shorter of the two. They used the exits as an entrance and that's where I entered because that's how I roll. A lone castmember is directing Annual Passholders over to Condor Flats. I have never, EVER seen anyone in the train before!! So we begin our trek... This is for you sign geeks. The line extended all the way to Redwood Creek Challenge... I'm almost there!!!!!! Was trying to get a good shot of the cool new costumes but they kept moving around too much. A short video - now you can see their costumes. Some shots of the exterior... No, she's not dancing, she doesn't like the bubbles going in her face. I'm dying to see the inside! The queue goes on FOREVER. The queue even wraps around to the other side of the building. SHEESH!

Let's look at DCA

Warning! Long post!! *grin* These shots were taken yesterday (4-2-11) because I felt like it, so there! I decided to walk to the Park from the parking structure and noticed some work going on at the Disneyland Hotel. Once inside DCA, I was envious of these people having a leisurely lunch in such a lovely setting. (Actually, I was wishing I was sitting there having some wine!) Ooooh, final touches going on! I have to say, it's pretty exciting to see all the changes that have taken place! The new color scheme is gorgeous. The painters were out in full force today. (Or should I say artists???) Another look at King Triton... Look at these details! Now we see a glimpse of the new restaurant area... From across the lagoon you get a nice look at the mountains in Carlsland.
