Life is a Journey

Nothing new, right? Ah, but there IS something new! Most of you know that I am on a podcast called The Disneyland Gazette. From time to time, I record reports from the Parks and share those on the podcast. However, many people don't listen to podcasts and I wanted to find a way to share those audio recordings via Facebook and Twitter so that people could get a taste of what our show is all about. I found a way! But let's get back to Disneyland and I promise to give you more info on hearing my audio reports at the end of this post. By noon, the Mickey and Friends parking structure was already full so I ended up at the Toy Story lot. Christmas was till everywhere in the Park and I was glad I got to see the decorations one last time before they were gone for another year. This is my FAVORITE time of year and I love it even more when Disneyland gets into the swing of things! On Thursday, September 25th, I spent a leisurely day at the park, just enjoying the decorations. Before going under the train tracks, I paused to photograph this sign. Mind you, I know nothing about the movie other than it doesn't really appeal to me but I know there are many of you out there that ARE looking forward to this. If you are an Annuel Passholder you can catch a preview in Tomorrowland. I met up with a couple of friends and we made our way to Innoventions. I've always enjoyed the view from up here because it reminds me of when I was able to ride the Skyway and enjoy viewing Disneyland from above. I had not seen the Iron Man exhibit and on this day I was only able to get a glimpse of it as there were soooo many people waiting to check it out. I went to see Mickey and the Magical Map the other day and I was so entranced by it that I forgot all about taking pictures! However, my friend Mallory saved the day by snapping a few with her iPhone so here you go! Personally, I could do without the extra dancers but I liked the main characters very much. As always, Mulan made me cry because I relate so much to her song, Reflection. And who doesn't love Stitch? (Don't answer that or I will hit you.) I love Tiana! After the show we walked through Fantasyland. Did you know there is a wonderful photo opp with Dumbo? Unfortunately, it is tucked away in a spot that is easy to miss...but we didn't!
