Time to Examine Tikis

Image
It's Tiki Time! These were taken in approximately in 2011. I don't believe much has changed, if at all since them. I remember I was sitting at home and all of a sudden it occurred to me that I had not been inside the Tiki Room for several years so I made the drive out to Disneyland just for that. Aw, the good old days when I lived close by! I briefly used this as my Facebook profile, LOL!   They sure are nice to look at, aren't they?

Halloween Season Begins!

I went to Disneyland on Friday the 13th knowing that the Halloween goodies would be open to all but not fully realizing just how many people would go! Getting there was a nightmare...the last 4 miles took FOREVER. Thanks to some jerks that kept cutting into my lane, I missed getting into the parking structure. They closed it as I arrived. This chocolate cookie crumb cheesecake is what...

First of all, I few weeks ago, I watched an old episode of California's Gold and learned about a family run operation that makes marmalades, jams and jellies. It is called E. Waldo War & Son and their claim to fame is that they've made these delectable delights for over a century and they offered tours so you could see how it was done. It sounded interesting to me so I looked them up online and then convinced my roommate that we needed to check it out, LOL. I put their info into my GPS and off we went. When we arrived, we were a bit confused since we ended up in a residential area and could find no sign in sight indicating that we were at the right place. We saw a couple of gentlemen and asked them if they knew anything about it and they told us to walk up the driveway towards the back of the pro...
