Life is a Journey

You know, Halloween time in Cars Land made me fall in love with it all over again! Look at the ADORABLE witch car silhouette on this building! When I noticed the faces on these gas pumps, I literally squealed with delight. If you enlarge the photo I think you'll be able to see the icky stuff on the tops of the metal drums. (I didn't notice that while I was there or I would have taken a close up shot.) THIS. This is adorable. Photo opp! Even Luigi's is getting festive. A stage was set up for the evening entertainment which sadly, I was going to miss. Does anyone have an idea as to why this caught my eye? Well...my mouth was watering. When I was a kid, my aunt one of these in her yard and whenever the fruit would ripen, she and my mom would harvest it. I remember it was sooo good! I could hardly wait for my mom to peel it. I got up early Wednesday morning to find some coffee and naturally, I had my cameras in hand. In case you are wondering, I had a light break fast of two eggs o ver easy, turkey bacon and some hash browns. After breakfast, I walked around the ship again and as you can see, most of the passengers were sleeping in because the de cks were pretty empty.   Here you get a glimpse of Ensenada. I found a spot to sit and relax while I waited for Linda to wake up, LOL. Once Linda was up and ready to start the day, it was almost lunch time so we headed to the Blue Iguana Cantina for some grub. When I saw these wonderful chilies, I knew the good was going to be good. There were two "condiment" bars....I guess you could call them condiments? Various salsas from mild (eye wash, LOL) to super hot, cilantro, diced onion, etc. When I ordered my burrito, I started cracking up because the cooks were surprised that I got such a small burrito. Yes, you've been waiting a long, long time for this but opening day is FINALLY here!  Well, tomorrow it will open. I know sooooo many people that are chomping at the bit for this. (Although why they are wearing a bit is confusing to me...) I didn't know what to title this post, LOL. I noticed this gorgeous lamp at the entrance to one of the bathrooms on Main Street. I want it. I've always admired the stately trees that are in front of the Main Street Station. Oh, if trees could talk! I walked over to DCA just because I could. The bridge looked lovely. It was still quite warm so I sat down outside of Starbucks and enjoyed the view. I also couldn't get enough photos of the Circle Carthay Theater... ...or the Red Car Trolly. Ah, my favorite - a Very Berry Refresher. So maybe I did go a little overboard with the Circle Carthay but hey, I had not been to DCA in 297-ish days!
